SRI Chat - Socially Responsible Investing
Subject: Disappointed with Aquinas Fund
From: Pete

Sept. 19,2000
After reviewing the Aquinas Fund Prospectus & Semi-Annual
Report. I was disappointed to find out that it uses a
"Proactive Approach", which means that is funds may hold
shares of companies involved in the tobacco, as some of
its funds do or some of the other industries most Socially
Responsible funds avoid. I am one of those Christians that
does not wish to invest in these "sinful industries". I believe that WE SHOULD USE OUR INVESTMENT DOLLARS TO SUPPORT
COMPANIES INVOLVED IN LIFE SUPPORTING INDUSTRIES.
CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD MIDCAP FUND WITH THIS APPROACH..

PETE.
