SRI Chat - Socially Responsible Investing
Subject: Salaries in Shareholder Advocacy
From: Jacob DuMez
Date: 04/07/05
I know this question is a bit different than other threads I see here, but I am looking at working in shareholder advocacy at a socially responsible investment firm, and I'm not sure what I should consider a ballpark figure for salary (required in most application processes). I'm moving from the nonprofit world (at a Foundation) where pay is generally substantially different than in the financial world- even in the world of SRIs. Does anyone out there have any insights? The specific position I am looking at now is shareholder advocacy associate.

Many thanks!
