Dear Ethan:
While a SRI Fund with screen that attracts all Socially Conscious investors can not be created. It seems to me that a fund that screens for human rights violations, environmental problems as well as the usual "sin stocks(companies involved in the Military, ToBacco, Alcohol, and Gambling industries)would appeal to a vast majority of people, which will allow the Fund Company to offer a Competitive fund with the Lowest Expenses ratio possible.

I must add a few comments on your comments regarding the need for Screening of Medium and Small size Companies. We as the individuals need to have access to this information in order to make our investments decissions, and it is a Must if we are to see an increase in the offerings of Sri funds that concentrate in these stocks. My own research in creating a Portfolio of funds has made me realize the scarcity of Medium and Small cap funds funds available for socially responsible investors.
