- Calvert Foundation’s loan is helping to finance the Tides Two Rivers
Fund’s Thoreau Center New York office project. The Thoreau Center New York provides nonprofits
with affordable, high-quality office space while fostering a sense of community and collaboration
amongst tenant organizations. Traditionally, there are few options in the tight and expensive New
York market making it difficult for nonprofits to obtain office space in Manhattan. The office
space for nonprofits created by this project will be 90,000 square feet.
