When investing in this fund, Parnassus also considers a company's financial strength and its environmental and social policies. This fund seeks long-term growth of capital through investing primarily in companies that the Adviser considers to have good workplaces for their employees.

Calvert Global Alternative Energy I The Calvert Global Alternative Energy Fund seeks long-term growth of capital. The Fund invests at least 80% of net assets in equity securities of U.S. and non-U.S. companies whose main business is alternative energy or are significantly involved in the alternative energy sector. It invests in securities of all market capitalizations and may also invest in American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") and Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs"). The Fund is non-diversified.
Calvert International Opportunities I The Calvert International Opportunities Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests primarily in the common and preferred stocks of non-U.S. small-cap to mid-cap companies. No more than 10% of the Fund's net assets will be invested in U.S. companies.
Calvert Large Cap Growth I Calvert Large Cap Growth Fund seeks to exceed the stock market total return, primarily through capital appreciation. The Fund invests 80% to 95% of assets in a diversified portfolio of common stocks of large U.S. companies. The fund invests in both value and growth companies. It will not invest in companies that have poor environmental records, including significant compliance and waste management problems. The fund also engages in purchase of options and futures.
Calvert Mid Cap Value I The Calvert Mid Cap Value Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation through investment in mid-cap U.S. common stocks that are trading below their intrinsic value. The Fund normally seeks to have a weighted average market cap between $2 and $10 billion. The Fund seeks to invest in companies that demonstrate positive environmental, social and governance performance as they address corporate responsibility and sustainability.
Calvert New Vision Small Cap I The Calvert New Vision Small Cap Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in small cap stocks that meet the Fund's investment and social criteria. The Fund invests at least 80% of assets in the common stocks of small-cap companies with a market capitalization of $3 billion or less at the time of initial purchase. The Fund seeks to invest in companies that demonstrate positive environmental, social and governance performance. Criteria include: environment, work-place relations, human rights, indigenous peoples' rights, community relations, and positive product and business practices.
Calvert Social Index I The Calvert Social Index Fund seeks to match the performance of the Calvert Social Index, which measures the investment return of large- and mid-cap stocks of companies that meet Calvert's social investment criteria. The Fund uses a replication index method, investing a proportionate share in the common stock of each company in the Index.
Calvert World Values Intl Equity I The Calvert World Values Fund International Equity seeks to provide a high total return consistent with reasonable risk by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of stocks that meet the Fund's investment and social criteria. The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in foreign companies, primarily large cap.
CNI Charter Socially Responsible Equity I The CNI Charter Socially Responsible Equity Fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth. The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of U.S. issuers that meet certain socially responsible criteria such as community relations, corporate governance, diversity, employee relations, environmental impact and sustainability, human rights, and product safety.
CRA Qualified Investment Fund I The Community Reinvestment Act Qualified Investment Fund seeks a high level of current income consistent with the preservation of capital. The Fund seeks investments that will be deemed to be qualified under the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. The Fund invests in bonds and other debt securities that support community and economic development activities, such as low-income housing and job creation programs.
