Background
Inner City Fund Partners is a product of Chicago Community Ventures, a
not-for-profit business development organization that provides financing,
consulting, and technology services to businesses located in various government
targeted areas for redevelopment including Chicago’s empowerment
zones, enterprise communities, enterprise zones and renewal communities;
businesses located in low or moderate income communities in IL; and MBEs
and WBEs in IL and beyond.
Social Mission
Chicago Community Ventures and Inner City Fund Partners strive to transform
companies and communities. The Fund seeks a "double bottom line"
of social and financial gains. The Fund focuses on creation, wealth retention
within the community, and the quality of the working environment.
Investment Information
Typical investments range from $250,000 to $2,500,000 and are made in
the form of equity, convertible debt, or debt with royalty payments. The
Fund does not focus on a particular industry or stage of business development.
